Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

For Client’s Aged 17 or Over

Or a client’s representative (where a client’s aged 16 or under)

Ruth = Ruth Tarr, an integrative pscyhotherapist and energy healer, at Holistic Health York).

You, your = you, the client (or the client’s representative, and the client aged 16 or under).

Session(s) = any integrative pscyhothrapy, energy healing and information offered by Ruth (including but not limited to paid, free, online, phone, in person, 1-2-1, group, single session, package or programme).

Sessions – Bookings & Timings

Sessions are pre-booked for set times and dates directly with Ruth or with an online booking system, and you should attend sessions at those times and dates.

If you are early, a session will start at the pre-booked time.  If you are late, the session will end at the pre-booked time and you will be charged in full. 

Cancelling and Rescheduling

* Group sessions are non-refundable. However, should Ruth need to reschedule a group session, it will be done for a time and date when the majority of attendees can attend.  In exceptional circumstances and at Ruth’s discretion, group sessions may be refunded.

Ruth will email or text you if a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances and will give you the option to reschedule or have a refund*.

You can ask to reschedule or refund a session via the booking system, or if you email or text Ruth 48 hours or more before the session*.  If you cancel, reschedule or fail to attend several sessions, Ruth may choose to no longer work with you, and will let you know why.

Sessions are non-refundable (and may not be rescheduled) if you:

  • Ask Ruth, via the booking system, email or text, to cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the session.
  • Fail to attend and don’t tell Ruth in advance.
  • Are late.
  • Are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication, or are driving, during the session, which Ruth can then cancel.

Ruth will use discretion if you have a real emergency, and may give you the option to reschedule or refund session(s).
