Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Holistic Health York and Ruth Tarr will be shortened to HHY. I, my, me, your, you is about YOU, the client.

Sessions – Bookings & Timings

Sessions must be pre-booked with Holistic Health York either directly or through the relevant online booking system.

As sessions (whether on video, phone or face-to-face) are booked for specific times, you must attend for those agreed times.  If you arrive early to a session, you will need to wait for your session to start at the specified time.  If you arrive late, HHY cannot extend the session to compensate. If you are over 15 minutes late and have not contacted HHY via phone or text to advise of being late, HHY will assume you are not coming and will consider that a non-refundable cancellation without notice.

Rescheduling or Cancelling

HHY operates a 24-hour rescheduling or cancellation policy.  If you cancel a session or request a session be rescheduled over 24-hours in advance, you can reschedule the session or request a refund.  If you cancel or request to reschedule a session 24-hours or less in advance, or if you cannot attend, the session will be non-refundable.

Exceptional circumstances

HHY recognises that genuine emergencies happen, in such cases HHY will reschedule or refund your session at HHY’s discretion.

Should you repeatedly make and cancel sessions, HHY may choose to no longer work with you, and HHY will inform you if that is the case.

If HHY Cancels a Session

If you are under the influence of any medication, illegal drugs or alcohol in a session, HHY reserves the right to cancel the session immediately, the cost of which is non-refundable.

Occasionally, circumstances might prevent HHY from delivering a session as agreed.  HHY will give you as much notice as possible if this happens, via email, phone or text.  HHY will give you the option of rescheduling or refunding the session.
